Hello! I’m Karin Steinbach, BA, E-RYT200
Yoga and Movement Educator

My love of all things health and wellness began over 20 years ago. Mornings found me repeating countless hours of favorite fitness DVDs and VHS tapes, while evenings were dedicated to manifesting Wayne Dyer’s words of wisdom. The path towards my dharma had been paved! Drawing from my BA in Education and desire to help others discover their inner strength and peace,
I pursued and completed Prairie Yoga's 200 Hour Teacher Training.

I have happily taught over 1000 hours of breath-linked, alignment-based classes and workshops ever since!
When the opportunity to explore “embodied anatomy” and therapeutic movement presented itself, I seized the chance to study Jill Miller’s Yoga Tune Up® training. The functional and correctional exercises taught me the benefits of greater proprioception, range of movement, strength and stability. It was so empowering to see and feel the difference after just one class! Enlightened by Jill Miller’s research, I expanded my studies with her through the deeper layers of fascia to become a Roll Model® Practitioner. The concept of self-care through self-myofascial release (SMFR) reaches across all ages and abilities. When paired with guided breath practices, it can translate into stress management for employees, mobility or recovery for athletes, and relief for
ANY body!
It is my aspiration to guide students through breath, shape and movement with an inspiring practice for mobility, mindfulness and joy.
